Students Reaction to the Texans Game Against the Patriots

January 15, 2013
By Olivia Garcia of South Houston High School

As all you die-hard Texans fans out there know, the Houston Texans lost their game this past Sunday, January 13, 2013, ending their chance in advancing to the play-offs.

“The Texans Defense was hurting again, especially in the second quarter,” said Senior Ismael Martinez.  “As for the offense, it lacks players. Unfortunately the Texans have no money, because it’s going to important people like Matt Schaub, whose contract was recently extended.  It would have been nice to see him play this past Sunday. Overall, the Patriots went out there and played football.  And when you’re playing a team like the Patriots, a field-goal just isn’t an option. It appears the Texans just weren’t motivated enough to play good football.”

As other students have returned to school, they have shown disappointment in the Texans loss this weekend and such a short season.
