Sandy Hook Elementary Tragedy

Adam Lanza, the man identified as the gunman in Friday's mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut killed at 27 people, 20 of which were school children. He is also a suspect in the shooting of his mother, Nancy Lanza, whose body was reportedly found inside her home on Friday, a home they shared. According to news reports, Adam Lanza drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School in his mother's car on Friday morning. The masked gunman entered the school administration office around 9:40 a.m., approximately 30 minutes after the school day began. The first 911 call was received by police one minute later.

President Obama spoke at a prayer vigil in Newton, Conneticut Sunday night honoring the victims of the sandy hook massacre. “We can’t tolerate this anymore. These tragedies must end."
