New band director?

Yes, the SHHS band director has left SHHS for a job as principal at Leon Elementary. But don't worry trojan band members! His wife Mrs.Smith has taken his job as the new SHHS band director.

"This has been the hardest decision that I have ever had to make concerning my career", said Smith. "I will miss the friendships and camaraderie that has been developed with each of you over the past 5+ years. I want to thank Dr.Fullen, Ms.Ballew, all of the fine arts faculty, and each of you for your support for me and most importantly, the SOHO Mighty Trojan Band! I will let Dr.Fullen fill you in on the transition, but I will say that those of you who know my wife Kim can probably guess who the new head band director is. As I make the transiton from teacher to administrator I can't help but think that the best way to say goodbye is with DO WHAT'S RIGHT! GO TROJANS!"
