Today, Tuesday, May 22, is a Regular Schedule Day

The Debate Team will meet afterschool today in Mrs. Garza's room.

Summer School registration for Juniors needing credit recovery will be this afternoon.  The cost is $60 per class, and must be paid in cash.

Seniors who are participating in Seniors Helping Seniors on Friday, May 25th, must have their permission slips turned into Mr. Zuniga today.  Seniors who still need permission slips can pick one up from Mrs. MacAnnich in the Assistant Principal's office.

Congratulations to the Trojan Model United Nations Team for their outstanding performance at the National Model UN Competition in New York City.  JD Duran brought home a Best Picture award for his outstanding work in Photojournalism.  Team members Meet Patel and Karen Cruz earned Honorable Mention for their work on the East Summit Committee - Asia; and Olga Trevino and Shivam Vakil earned Honorable Mention General Assembly 6th Committee Criminal Accoutablility of UN Officials. 

Congratulations also go out to the South Houston Name That Book Team sponsored by school librarians Kathleen Hammerlee and Brenda Roach.  The Team took second place in the district-wide tournament.  Team members included Maria Martinez, Reyna Hernandez, Marisa Moreno, Karla Herrera, Crystal Islas, Ani Sanchez and Shania Cervantes.
