Cards get another conference win

The Lady Cards faced Bloomington North on Friday, Dec. 2 and came up with their fifth win of the season.

Leading the way in points was junior Grace Clark with 14 points. Other key players were junior Bria Wright with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals and senior Zoey Freese with 11 points and five rebounds.

“Another team effort despite the 16 missed free-throws and key missed ley-ups,” said head coach Miss Leah Enterline. “We had positive bench minutes that were really needed as well.”

Next game will be against Roncalli on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at home. J.V. start time is at 6 p.m. followed by varsity at 7:30 p.m. Catch the Cards try to improve to 6-1.
