Cardinals face Brownsburg

The girls' track team faced off against Brownsburg on Thursday, Apr. 7, 2011, and came up short. The score of the meet was 72-60 favoring Brownsburg.

Junior Abby Springer came in first the both the high and low hurtles. Senior Kirstie Pieper won the shot-put with a length of 35ft and the discus with a length of 95.1ft. Junior Juanesha Byrd came in first in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Sydney Barger won the pole vaulting competition.

"For the first meet, it went okay," said head coach Mr. Nathan Fishel. "This is my youngest team ever, we have room to improve."

The next meet will be at home against Whiteland on Thursday, Apr. 7, 2011. The meet will begin at 5 p.m.
