Last night the team traveled to Roncalli. The team lost 46-37.
Junior Tim Jewell led the team with 12 points, senior Quinton Sanders had 10 points and sophomore Malik Bennett had nine points.
Head coach Mr. Kyle Simpson thought his team played very hard.
“We fought throughout the whole game and the team played with great effort,” Simpson said.
Simpson believed the team played their hearts out even in a tough place to play with a small gym and large student body.
Simpson thought the team could improve on their free throws along with limiting their turnovers.
In practice Simpson plans on focusing on getting the team to understand that every possession counts along with limiting turnovers and hitting free throws.
The team will play Mooresville this Friday at home. It will be senior night.
Come out and support your Cards and their seniors.
