Key performers for the Cards in the first game were Christian McGail and Luke Johnston both with 10 points each. Thomas Garrett was also important because of his three-pointer at the end of the game.
After their win, the Cards played Lawrence North for the finals. The Cards lost 46-36.
“We played some great defense,” Danner said. “We just couldn’t make shots.”
