Cards wrestling to compete in Conference Indiana Invite

The boys wrestling team has the Conference Indiana tournament tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 11. The meet is going to be held at Bloomington North and is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.

The teams in the tournament will be Franklin Central, Lawrence Central, Perry Meridian, Southport, Bloomington North, Bloomington South, Pike and Columbus North.

“We have to continue to get better,” head coach Mr. David Walpole said, “and get ready for the Conference Indiana tournament on Saturday. We are all looking forward to it.”

The key wrestlers from the past few weeks have been senior Casey Kauffman (113lbs), junior Gideon Sanlianpuia (132lbs), sophomores Jesse Leamon (126lbs) and sophomore Dameion Rutledge (106lbs).

The wrestlers may be wrestling at different weight classes tomorrow.
