Cards wrestling teams wins on senior night

The boys wrestling team won last night, Jan 9^th, against Northwest. The score was 54-30.

“I thought we wrestled pretty well,” Head coach Mr. David Walpole said. “We had a couple rough spots where we lost matches we should have but for the most part did really well.”

Senior Casey Kauffman led his senior night and got a pin. Sophomore Jesse Leamon, Junior Gideon Sanlianpuia and Freshman Devin Dilley followed that with pins of their own.

“We did well,” Walpole said. “But we have to continue to get better and get ready for the Conference Indiana tournament on Saturday. We are all looking forward to it.”

The tournament is going to be held at Bloomington North and is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
