Cards basketball to take on 4th ranked Ben Davis

The boys varsity basketball team will host Ben Davis Saturday night, Dec. 1 at 7:30p.m.

Head varsity coach Mr. Kyle Simpson said in practice the team has been focusing on themselves rather than Ben Davis.

“We have been focusing on fundamentals and correcting the basic errors we made in the past two games,” Simpson said.

Simpson described Ben Davis as a really good team.

“They are ranked fourth or fifth in the state, and have a good guard that has committed to a division one school,” Simpson said. “They have good young talent.”

In order to get a win Simpson said the team needs to take care of the ball, not commit as many turnovers and rebound.
