Cards wrestlers place in Tech Invitational

The Cards wrestling team competed in the Tech Invitational. They had four guys place in the tournament. Senior Casey Kauffman placed 2^nd -113lb weight class, Sophomore Dameion Rutledge (106) placed 5^th, Sophomore Jesse Leamon (126) placed 6^th and Freshman Micah Wilburn (120) placed 8^th.

“We have two full weeks of practice,” head coach Mr. David Walpole said. “We are going to get a lot better, so I feel that the next tournament will go better than this one. We are continuing to work hard and get better every day and continuing to improve.”

The Cards have an Invitational at Hagerstown on Saturday, Dec. 1st. The invitational is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
