Both Cardinal swimming teams lose vs. Roncalli

The boys and girls came back empty handed last night after losing to Roncalli.  The team’s main competitors were freshmen Jaclyn Boyer, Delaney Bucker, seniors Sarah Barnhart, Hannah Hill, and Carly Chappell for the girls as well as junior James Paden for the guys.

“We did OK.  We had some best times, but we also had many bad times,” head coach Mr. Matthew Jeffries said.  “Our technique was a big factor last night.  It gave the team bad starts, turns, and finishes.”

Both the girls and boys teams are scheduled to be hosting Beech Grove next Tuesday, Nov. 27.  The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:30p.m.

“Sometimes we win and sometimes they win so this is a toss-up,” Jeffries said.
