November 6, 2012
Southport High School

The Southport boys bowling team lost to Whiteland Thursday, Nov. 1. The Cards lost to Whiteland 11 points to nine. Senior Christian Collins led the boys with a high score of 385 pins in a two game series.

The girl’s bowling team beat Whiteland 17 to three. Sophomore Rachel Burwell led with a high score of 403 pins in a two game series.

Varsity girls head coach Mr. Jeff Thomas believes the girl’s team has a great chance of going far this season.

“We have an excellent chance to contend for a conference and a sectional title.” Thomas said.

The teams will play again this Thursday, Nov. 8 at Greenfield.

Come out and support your Cards bowling teams.
