Girls soccer loses first round of county

The Lady Cards soccer team lost last night, Monday, Sept. 24 to Brebeuf Jesuit in the first round of county. The score of the game was 0-9.

Head coach Mr. Dan McLaughlin said Brebeuf was a very good team.

“They were talented, fast, and outsized us,” McLaughlin said.

Overall McLaughlin believed his team played well. But he also believes there are a few things the team can improve on however.

“We need to improve on our defensive awareness and passing,” McLaughlin said.

The Lady Cards play again, Saturday, Sept. 29 against Bloomington North. It is scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m.
