The Lady Cards soccer team lost to Decatur Central, Saturday, September 15. The score of the game was 2-0.

Saturday’s game was senior day for the Lady Cards. Head coach Mr. Dan McLaughlin said the whole game was bittersweet.

“It was bittersweet because they’re not going to be playing with us much longer, but it was a happy moment because it’s the next step into their life,” McLaughlin said.

McLaughlin said the team did things well.

“We played hard and were organized defensively,” McLaughlin said.

McLaughlin also believes the team needs to improve on things before the next game.

“We need to pass more accurately and make longer passes,” McLaughlin said.

In practice McLaughlin plans on working on passing.

The Lady Cards next game is Wednesday, September 19 against Roncalli. They game will be away and is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
