Girls soccer loses to LC

The Lady Cards soccer team lost to Lawrence Central last night, Wednesday, September 12.The score of the game was 3-0.

Head coach Mr. Dan McLaughlin said the team improved on some things.

“We played better offense,” McLaughlin said.

McLaughlin said the team has some things they need to improve on as well.

“We need to do a better job of keeping an eye on our defensive mark,” McLaughlin said.

In practice the team plans on working on their defense and ways to score.

The Lady Cards next game is Saturday, September 15 against Decatur Central. Saturday will be senior day for the Lady Cards. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
