Girls soccer loses to Franklin Community
September 10, 2012
Southport High SchoolThe girls soccer team lost 6-0 to a “tough” Franklin Community team this past Saturday, September 8.
Despite the loss, head coach Mr. Dan McLaughlin was happy with how many shots his team had on the opposing goal.
“We had more shots on goal this game than any of our other games,” he said. “This game and the Greenwood game have been good games for us, even if we lost.”
The Lady Cards hope to continue their trend of producing more shots on goal when they travel to Franklin Central tonight, September 10, to take on the Lady Flashes. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Come out and support your Lady Cards.
