Girls Soccer loses to Bloomington South

Southport High SchoolThe Lady Cards soccer team lost to a “tough” Bloomington South team, Wednesday, September 5. The score of the game was 12-0.
Junior Kelsey Newhouse played “well” for the Lady Cards.
Assistant coach Miss Aimee Kroll said the team needs to improve on some things before their next game.
“We need to take more shots on goals and put more pressure on defense,” Kroll said.
Kroll said the team learned new position well and played as a team.
The Lady Cards next game will be tomorrow, Saturday, September 8 against Franklin Community. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.
