Girls golf places fourth at County

The Lady Cards tied for fourth in the Marion County meet yesterday, September 5. The Lady Cards tied with Ben Davis with a score of 368. Kaitlin Powers was the low medalist with a 88.

“We started out slow but responded well after a couple of holes,” head coach Mr. Bob Humbles said. “After Kaitlin, the rest of the girls stayed in the 90’s for a great team score. We have the Conference Tourney Monday, at Winding River Golf Course, so we will have to shoot around 360-370 to place in the upper half of the tourney.”

Come out and support your Lady Cards in the Conference tournament. It is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
