Lady Cards soccer falls to Perry Meridian

August 30, 2012
Southport High School

The Lady Cards soccer team lost last night to Perry Meridian, Wednesday, August 29. The score of the game was 7-0.

Makyla Kuhn played well for the Lady Cards last night after being moved into a new position.

Head coach Mr. Dan McLaughlin said his team played better, and the last five to six minutes of the game dictated it.

Even though the team played better McLaughlin said there are things they need to improve on before the next game.

“We need to work on possessing the ball more on offense and dictating the floor,” McLaughlin said.

In practice McLaughlin plans on working on basic skills and possessing the ball more.

McLaughlin is giving his team the weekend off to rest and recover from injuries and a “tough” week of games.

The Lady Cards next game is Wednesday, September 5, against Bloomington South.
