Cards tennis loses to 12th ranked Perry Meridian

Southport High SchoolThe Cards played 12th ranked Perry Meridian last night, August 28. They lost to the Falcons 0-5.
“Perry played really well tonight,” head coach Mr. Harry Schwartz said. “Even though they are ranked 12th in the state we fought through it all.”
The Cards next match is this Thursday, August 30, versus Bloomington South at home. They are ranked 11th in the state. The match is scheduled for 5:30p.m.
“We are expecting a really tough match Thursday” Schwartz said. “They are ranked one higher than Perry Meridian.”
On the Bloomington team is Ronnie Schneider, a senior that is been ranked in the top ten in the nation.
The Cards will be training and working hard for the upcoming match.
