Cards XC competes at Noblesville

Southport High SchoolLast weekend the Cards went to the Noblesville Hokum Karum. There were around twenty four teams at the meet Saturday, August 25.
“We're looking looking strong this year,” head coach Mr. Dennis Bruce said. The reserve race was lead by George Ferris who placed first. Vincent Hre placed twenty third in his race.
“We're still working our overall conditioning though,” Bruce said. They hope to be more conditioned and to gain experience throughout the season.
The Cards first actual team meet is scheduled for this up coming Saturday, September 1. The meet is a 5k race called the Martinsville Invitational which is scheduled to begin at 9:00a.m.
