Visiting Lapel exploded with 13 runs in the second inning April 28 on its way to a 20-1 win over Sheridan.

The Bulldogs tagged Sheridan starter Morgan Hillock for 17 hits but only 10 earned runs, while the Lapel duo of freshman Reagan Finley and senior Jessie Brown combined to allow just four hits by the Blackhawks.

Senior Leigh Murphy had a terrific game for the Bulldogs, going 5 for 5 with a double and three runs batted in. Classmate Ciera Clem went 2 for 4 with two doubles and four RBIs, senior Kayleigh Schroeder had two RBIs, and Finley and senior Carissa Morris each collected two hits.
