Cards get 1st win

The Cardinals hosted East Ridge this past Thursday at Sheldon Clark Stadium.  Behind a strong running game and some timely passing SC jumped out early to a 26-0 halftime lead and never looked back in picking up the 53-20 win as Coach Hager was able to clear out the bench and give everyone a chance to participate.  It was the Cards' first win of the year.  They will look to keep it going next week as they host district rival Pike Central before getting a much needed by week heading into the last week of the season before the playoffs start.
