Home » Girls' Softball NewsSC Lady Cards Softball Season Comes to an EndMay 23, 2012 Sheldon Clark High SchoolIt may not have ended the way the team and coaches would have liked but the 2012 Sheldon Clark Lady Cards softball season will be looked upon as the most successful season in the school's history. The girls lost to Magoffin Co in the 2nd round of the District Tournament to end the season but they would post a 15-10 overall record which is the most in wins in school history and their first winning season since 2003 after starting the season 1-4. The team loses 3 seniors: Tori O'Conner, Morgan Mooney, and Brittani Hatfield which we will miss and wish the best too. The Lady Cards also welcomed some new additons to this year's team which mixed with returning players and using this season as a foundation will hopefully begin the process of building up this program to battle for championships in the future. A big hand to Athletic Director and iterim coach, Robin Newsome, for all of her hard work this year with the team. Congrats on a wonderful season Lady Cards Softball.
