The event will be held December 16th-21st at Alemany High School, Crespi High School, Granada Hills High School and Kennedy High School, with the Final Four to be held at Granada Hills.
Teams scheduled to take part in the event include Alemany, Burbank, Burroughs, Camarillo, Chatsworth, Crenshaw, Crescenta Valley, Crespi, Eastside, Golden Valley, Granada Hills, Grant, Hart, Kennedy, Knight, Milken, Monroe, Morningside, North Hollywood, Notre Dame, Oak Park, Panorama, Poly, Quartz Hill, Ribet Academy, Sierra Canyon, Terry Fox (B.C., Canada), University, Valley Torah, Verdugo Hills, Westlake and West Ranch.
The San Fernando Valley Invitational Tournament made its debut in December of 2005. Since then, it has quickly evolved into one of the elite tournaments in all of Southern California and is currently the largest tournament in Los Angeles with 32 teams participating each season.
