Mt Zion's J.R. Holder commits to Jacksonville U

Jacksonville University picked up a commitment from Jarius Holder of Mt. Zion High School in Jonesboro, Georgia. Jarius averaged 22.6pts per game last season finishing as runner up for Player of the Year in Region 4-AAAA.

JR, is an efficient shooter that has the ability to shoot off the catch or dibble. J.R. is most effect shooting the ball off screens where he can knock down shots over smaller defenders. Last season, he finished with a total of (49) 3-pointers made while shooting 59% from deep. He has the capability to put the ball on the floor past a couple dribbles where he can get into the lane for the pull up jumper. J.R was one of our top performers last Saturday at the On the Radar Hoops Fall Showcase
