Pleasant Show Choir Invitational February 5February 4, 2011 By Dave Schneider of Mt Pleasant High SchoolSome of Iowa's top Show Choirs will be competing at the 17th annual "Music InMotion" Show Choir Invitational at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on February 5, beginning at 12:45 PM. Show Choirs scheduled to compete include groups from West Des Moines Dowling Catholic, Ft. Madison, Muscatine, Bettendorf, and City High of Iowa City. There will be exhibition performances by the University of Northern Iowa Show Choir Vocal AmmUNItion as well as host Show Choirs Chain Reaction of the Mt. Pleasant Middle School and InMotion of the High School. Admission is $10 and is good for both the daytime and evening sessions. Kids 5 and under are admitted free. "Music InMotion" is held at the Mt. Pleasant Community High School, 2104 S. Grand Ave. Event information is available at the event's web site. General information about the Mt.
