Pleasant boys basketball team to an 11-3 record after wins over Keokuk and Oskaloosa. Friday night the Panthers clinched at least a piece of the conference title with a 50-45 win over the Chiefs. Ryan Hanna had 16 points and Faith Pope dropped in 14. Pope grabbed 8 rebounds. Saturday at Oskaloosa, the Panthers rolled over the Indians 69-40. Ryan Hanna led three Mt. Pleasant players in double figures with 21 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the field. Cameron Frank and Faith Pope added 13 each. Frank and Pope were the top rebounders with 8 each. Mt. Pleasant continues to play without senior guard Dalton Conrad who is nursing a knee injury. The Panthers travel to the Hound Dome Friday night to tangle with the Ft. Madison Bloodhounds. In December the Panthers topped the Hounds 58-50. Ft. Madison's record is 8-4 and they are coming off a 74-47 win over Eddyville - Blakesburg-Fremont.
