Dalton Conrad Out With Knee Injury
January 15, 2013Mt Pleasant High School
Mt. Pleasant senior basketball guard Dalton Conrad is out for an undetermined amount of time after suffering a slight tear in his medial collateral ligament of his knee.
The medial collateral ligament (MCL) is a broad and flat band situated slightly posterior on the medial side of the knee joint.
Conrad has been a two year varsity starter, averaging 7.5 points per game this season for the Panthers. He is famously remembered for his dramatic 3-point shot at the end of the first overtime in last year's state championship game, eventually won by Mt. Pleasant over Western Dubuque in double overtime.
