Mt. Pleasant Boys Win Big Over CR Prairie

In a much anticipated match tonight, the Mt. Pleasant Panthers ran out to an 11 point halftime lead, then kicked it into high gear in the second half for a 72-42 win over Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Cameron Frank led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points. Faith Pope electrified the home crowd with several dunks while dropping in 14 points.

Coach Paul Rundquist was very pleased with the effort and hopes the Panthers continue to improve as they travel to Keokuk Friday night for a SEC game with the Chiefs in their newly reconstructed Wright Fieldhouse.
