Pleasant Panthers, though sporting a different look this year due to graduation, crushed the Fairfield Trojans Friday night to open Southeast Conference play. Leading MP to the lopsided 62-24 win was Ryan Hanna with 11 points and Cameron Frank 10. Trey Magnani was the team's leading rebounder with 6. He also led in assists with 4. Saturday afternoon the boys traveled to Pella and lost to the Dutch 62-49. Ryan Hanna had 13 points and Logan Mulford 11. Hanna led in rebounding with 5. The Panthers started out the season dropping a 60-48 contest at Cedar Rapids Xavier. Senior guard Dalton Conrad nailed 17 points in that game. Mt. Pleasant plays at home Tuesday night against Cedar Rapids Prairie, who are fresh off a 30 point win over Muscatine.
