The Mt. Pleasant Panthers knocked off the Oskaloosa Indians Tuesday night 3-0 in Regional Semifinal play at East Lake Park and will move on to play Pella in a Regional Final match next Monday in Pella.

The Panthers scored a goal in the first 40 minute half when Holly Long took a pass from Samentha Phommachack and found the back of the net. The second half saw two insurance goals tallied as Allie Liechty scored her first goal of the season, followed by Holly Long's second goal of the game. Linzie Hood and Allie Liechty were credited with assists on those two plays.

Lauren Hillman had 11 saves in the match, which was played in front of the largest home crowd of the season.

Mt. Pleasant, now 11-8, will play Pella who has a 15-3 record. Pella, currently ranked #5, easily defeated Chariton 10-0 Monday night in their semifinal contest. The game at Pella is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
