The Panthers and the Grayhounds have one common opponent so far this season - Notre Dame. The Nikes, who are ranked #15 in 1A, knocked off Burlington 2-0 while they beat Mt. Pleasant 5-0 when the Panthers were playing without several top players who were participating with the high school jazz band in Des Moines. Burlington is coming off a 3-0 win over Clinton while Mt. Pleasant recorded their third straight shutout, 1-0 over Keokuk. Mt. Pleasant is 7-3 on the season, 4-1 in the Southeast Conference.
