Panthers Finish SEC Season Undefeated

For the fourth consecutive year the Mt. Pleasant Panthers swept through the Southeast Conference games undefeated, closing out conference play last night with a 52-40 win at Washington.

Senior guard Jordan Ashton led the way with 17 points, dropping in four treys in the process. As a team, the Panthers hit ten 3-pointers.

Mt. Pleasant has completed SEC play at 8-0 and is 19-1 overall, their lone loss coming at Cedar Rapids Prairie back in December, 55-53. They close out the regular season next Thursday when they host the Ottumwa Bulldogs. The 9th grade game begins at 4:45 PM.
