Panthers Recover To Defeat Oskaloosa

After a disappointing loss to Keokuk Friday night, a game which saw the Panthers lose a third quarter lead and eventually the game, the girls rebounded the following afternoon to beat a good Oskaloosa team 54-41.

Taylor Shull, who has been battling the flu, led the attack with 19 points while Kelsi Phipps contributed 14.

The win marked the second win of the season over Oskaloosa, now 10-5, as the Panthers beat them on the road back in December 48-40.

Mt. Pleasant plays in the Hound Dome Friday night against 2-13 Ft. Madison before hosting Burlington Saturday afternoon as part of a varsity girl/boy twinbill.
