Base: Golden Eagles fall to traditional power LaPorte

Oak Hill faced traditional power LaPorte April 1 in a stern early season test. The Slicers lived up to billing, drubbing the Golden Eagles 14-3 in five innings. Derek Durkes took the loss, surrendering six runs on five hits in two innings of work. The biggest blow of the day for Oak Hill came off the bat of Ryan Spaulding who cracked a run scoring triple in the contest.
