GBB: Prairie Heights enters Sagarin Top 20 after 3-0 start

Third-year Prairie Heights girls basketball coach Kevin Frey has his Panthers off to a 3-0 start – good enough for the No. 8 spot in the first set of updated Class 2A Sagarin power ratings for the 2012-13 season.

The Panthers went 9-12 in Frey’s first season before improving to 14-8 a year ago. This time around, Prairie Heights had picked off Hamilton (32-26), Elkhart Christian Academy (48-12), and Lakeland (59-37) to start 3-0 heading into a Thanksgiving weekend that brings battles at 2A Westview (0-3) and versus 3A Wawasee (3-0).
