Lakers Take Tough Loss In First Round

The Lady Lakers battled it out with the Central Noble Cougars in the first round of the NECC Tournament, only to get the short end of the straw. The Lakers played tough but couldnt get their offense going at all. The Cougars sank two in the first half and put one in the second half to seal the victory and move on in the tournament. The Lakers have some time to get their head back on their shoulders before they play West Noble on September 19, next Monday.
