Lady Lakers Get First Win!

The Lakeland Girls soccer team squeaked by the Angola Hornets yesterday for their first win of the season.  The Lakers were led by Senior Holly Eaton and Freshman Rebecca Levitz. They both scored in the second half giving the lakers a 2-1 advantage late in the game. The Lakers defended well for the rest of the game by not letting any goals get by them. The final score was Lakers 2 Angola 1. The Lady Lakers next game is on September 12, 2011 against Garrett.
