Lakeland Girls Soccer Starts 2-2

The Lady Lakers soccer team took a big loss over Wawasee with the game ending with a 3-1 score. For the Lakers Katie Levitz scored one to put the Lakers on the scoreboard.

The Lady Lakers went away to face a big team, East Noble. We could only put on goal in for the game which was scored by Elexus Holmes. The girls lost the game, 4-1.

The girls faced Mishiwaka on Saturday, August 23rd. The Lakers got their first win of the season with Karley Alleshouse scoring two goals with one assisted by Joy Sustaita. Elexus Holmes also put in two goals for the Lakers, one of which was assisted by their Katie Levitz.  Katie Levitz scored a goal with an assist from Karley Alleshouse. Joy Sustaita also put one in with an unassisted goal. The Lakers final score was 6-3.

The Lady Lakers faced Central Noble on Monday, August 25th. The Lakers defeated Central Noble 5-1. Scoring for the Lakers were Katie Levitz with two goals and Elexus Holmes, Becca Levitz, and Karley Alleshouse each scoring one goal. Christina Sanchez had an assist.

The Lakers are now 2-2 on the season and host Lakewood Park on Thursday.
