Boy's Track Wins Conference

The Boy's track team won the regular season conference title last night in the crossover meet with Churubusco 68-64.
The winning effort was led by Nick Byler with a school record performance in the 400m run with a time of 50.44 seconds. Byler also led the charge in the 4x800m relay consisting of Joseph Trost, Daniel Nieves, and Mishael Theis. Trost also took first in the 800m run. Dustin Cunningham and Joel Miller went 2-3 and 2-1 in the 100m and 200m dashes. Kyle Burchett had an impressive showing in the 3200m run taking first. Cunningham also took second in the long jump. Eric Herber won blue in the mile. Tanner Oakley went 6-2 in the high jump taking first, and Evan Garretson won both the discus and the shot put, breaking the school record in shot with a heave of 57-5.
The Boy's host the lakeland invite tonight at 5pm.
