The Lakers took a hard loss last Friday night to the Angola Hornets as they fell by 10. It was the Laker seniors last game at their place and they came out flat as can be. The Hornets shook them up early and kept it up throughout the 3rd quarter. The Lakers were finally putting together some offense in the 4th, but by then it was too late. The game was pretty even all the way throughout but your Lakers just couldn’t get the ball to go in. Having a last game like that is sure diappointing, but the Lakers can look back at this season and realize how much they have grown as people and how much fun they had as a famiy. Leading scorers on the night were Seniors Chandler Mynhier and Daemyn Priestley.
In JV action the Hornets came out to a blistering start as they scored 18 in the first quarter. Throughout the game the Lakers had to slowly catch up, and they took to long because the Laker JV fell as well, by 11. Leading scorers for the JV squad were Austin Hoffelder and Britain Isaacs.
