Laker Gymnasts Compete At IHSAA Sectional

Wawsee played host to some outstanding gymnastics on March 2nd. The Lakeland squad placed fifth overall, just missing the cut. Lakeland senior Chloe Sturdivant placed fourth in vault and junior Caitlin Yoder placed 6th in the same event, both moving on to the Valparasio Regional on Friday March 8th. The top three teams advanced and the top 6 individuals advanced in each event.

Lakeland fell behind the top four teams being (1) Angola, (2) Plymouth, (3) DeKalb and (4) Wawasee. The best total team score set by Angola was 106.175.
