The Lakers jumed out to quick lead to start the game leading 16-7 after the first quarter and 24-21 at half time. The Barons made a run in the second half outscoring Lakeland 32-18 in the second half. Senior Spencer Mortola started out hot scoring 10 of his game high 16 points in the first period. Chandler Mynhier added 10 points and 10 rebounds while Mitch Herber put in six points. The Lakers will play at Angola Friday night for their final regular season game before sectionals. The Lakeland JV also fell to DeKalb on Tuesday night by a score of 45-31. Sophomore Cole Lozano led the Laker reserves with 13 points will Junior Tanner Oakley had 10.
