Lakers Take Home the NECC Conference Tournament

After easily beathing Central Noble on Friday night 8-0, the Lakers took on Westview in the conference final. Both teams came into the game with a lot of confidence after coming away with impressive wins the the semi-finals. It was a very hard fought first 80 minutes when the game ended in a 0-0 tie. After two periods of extra time, the game was still tied. Stepping up to take the penalty kicks for the lakers were Dustin Cunningham, Carlos Albor, Nick Byler, Hernan Duran, and Samual Garcia. After an intense shootout, the lakers were able to pull of an upset and win their first conference tournament since 2005.
