Football Starts Season 2-0

On Friday night, the Lakeland Varsity Football team defeated Fremont High School 46-13. William Kelly connected to Taylor Raatz for a 47 yard touchdown pass on the first play of the night as Lakeland went on to score another fast touchdown from Cory Troyer within the first few minutes of a long treturous game. Raatz and Troyer would go on to each score another touchdown with Logan Owens, Jordan Aldrich, and Thomas Roebel each adding a score. The offensive line had another great game as the Lakers pounded out 272 yards of rushing and over 100 yards of passing. On defense Jordan Aldrich and Cory Troyer each had an interception helping keep the Eagles to a low yardage game.
