The Huntington North High School girls' varsity cross country team finished fifth out of 10 teams with a score of 123 at the Baron Classic on Saturday, Aug. 25.
Hannah Stoffel was the top finisher for Huntington North at 20:01.09, good for 12th place overall.
Kayla Patrick was second for Huntington North at 20:47.67 and 21st overall; Marie Ditzler placed 29th in 21:12.39, Marissa Jamison was 32nd in 21:20.20 and Cassidy Johnson was 42nd in 21:42.77 to round out the scoring for the Lady Vikings.
Lauren Daas was 45th in 21:49.48 and Karson Rowe was 49th in 21:54.73 to completethe varsity team.
Also running were Stephanie McElhaney at 58th in 22:21.48, Emily Eherenman at 60th in 22:24.30, Allison Henn at 68th in 22:40.70 and Hannah Peters at 69th in 22:52.86.
Carroll won the invitational with a score of 35. Northridge placed second with 81 points. Warsaw was third with 96 points and Concordia Lutheran was fourth with 108 points.
Ashley Erba, of Warsaw, was the individual champion at 18:12.32.
