GBB: Warriors overwhelm Marshall

Dominating doesn’t really scratch the surface when trying to describe the Lady Warriors’ 73-15 victory on January 9^th over Indianapolis Marshall in the first round of the City Tournament. The end of the first quarter saw Covenant with a 27-0 lead over the Lady Patriots. They were able to extend their lead to 44-6 by the half. A 63-11 lead by the end of the third quarter ensured that the Lady Warriors would be moving on in the City Tournament. Leading the way for Covenant Christian was senior Mariah Neese, with 21 points on the night. Teammate Emma Brattain also contributed 14 points in the victorious effort, while securing 10 boards. The Lady Warriors improved to 11-5 on the season and advanced to the 2^nd round of the City Tournament. They will face Broad Ripple at home on January 10^th.
